Our Story
Carlson Landscape’s doors have been open since 2012, but we recently moved our business and family to beautiful Camano Island! With over 75 years of experience between us in the field of landscape design-build and maintenance, we are bringing our expertise to serve our neighbors in Island, Snohomish, Skagit, and north King Counties. We bring the personal touch to building your outdoor living spaces.
Becky Carlson is a licensed landscape architect and our construction project manager. Becky earned her Landscape Architecture degree from the University of Washington in 1983, and has applied and developed those skills in the Pacific Northwest ever since. Scott Carlson is co-owner and our Landscape Superintendent/Landscape Artisan. For over 35 years Scott has acquired and applied his wealth of knowledge to residential and commercial projects alike. Between the two of them, Scott and Becky have complimentary skills to cover any landscape design or installation need.
Our passion and focus is landscape Design-Build for residential landscapes. We take your ideas, offer our expertise and develop a plan, then apply that plan to create the garden of your dreams.
Carlson Landscape employs a small team of skilled craftsmen who are experts in their trade who care personally for each and every project. We design and install all aspects of residential landscape work: hardscapes, waterworks such as irrigation systems and water features, low voltage lighting systems, custom wood structures, stone work, and more. DESIGN - CONSTRUCTION - MAINTENANCE
It all begins with an idea. Maybe you want more entertaining space. Maybe you want to hear a soothing waterfall instead of neighborhood noise. Or maybe you have a vision of radical change. Whatever it is, we are here to help you make the ideas reality. Don’t worry about an idea being too big or too small; we are here to work with you, walk with you through the journey, and help you realize your vision.
It starts with listening to you: What you are looking to do and how much change do you wish to make? Your garden should suit your home and reflect your style. It should celebrate your personality and meet your needs for function, fun, and aesthetics, accentuating the best attributes of your property. Do you have a view? Do you have a need for less exposure to the neighbors? Do you want to grow a kitchen garden? Do you need space to entertain friends?
Then we create a design in plan form to meet those needs and express your style.
The design process can take a little time as we work together to finalize the details within the plan. Once a plan has been finalized, we work through the process of budget, so your financial boundaries are respected, and then our team of skilled tradesman will take your plan and bring it to life. We come prepared with professional grade tools, equipment, and experience, not to mention a positive can-do attitude. We use only the highest quality materials to fit your needs and budget, and execute our work in an efficient, yet detail-oriented manner.
Once a project is complete, your investment requires protection and care. That’s why we offer landscape maintenance services. We have flexible visit plans for those who want weekly maintenance visits, bi-weekly, monthly, or quarterly for those who need an extra hand from time to time.
